The value of the lease is valued at $2.1 million. Terms call for the law firm of Breiderbach, Buckley, Hutching, Halm & Hamblet to take a full floor at 1000 Wilshire, which recently has seen a flurry of rental activity.

John C. Anthony and Dan Cherrie of Charles Dunn Co.'s Downtown office represented the law firm in the transaction. Onno Zwaneveld of the LA office of Julien J. Studley represented the sublessor, AES New Energy.

The 1000 Wilshire building has seen an unusual amount of activity over the past several weeks. Earlier this month, locally based Wedbush Morgan Securities became the tower's largest tenant when the firm signed a 10-year, $26-million lease for 113,000 sf in this building. The price included building-top signage.
