WorkplaceUSA has made four shifts. W. Garth Hodge is the new senior vice president of the WorkPlace Design Group, where he has worked since 1995. He has more than 30 years' experience as a registered architect in all commercial development areas, including town and resort master planning. He is responsible for such facets as site analysis and acquisition, feasibility, development, master planning and entitlement procurement.

Jay Ballou too has been named senior vice president at WorkPlaceUSA. A 10-year employee, he is with the subsidiary, ITI Solutions, where he has been dedicated to developing companies' Internet and telecommunications infrastructures. ITI's services encompass consulting, design, engineering, construction management and project management for high-tech clients.

Rob Warrick is the new senior vice president of WorkPlaceUSA's design group. He has more than 20 years' experience in large-scale, mixed-use developments, commercial office parks, resort hotels and corporate facilities. He too is a registered architect, having worked on projects such as Dallas' Lincoln Centre, USAA's corporate campus expansion in San Antonio, EDS corporate campus in Plano, Disney's All-Star Resorts in Orlando and WorldPark's Loudon campus in Colorado. The design group promotion also includes Marie Powers Behan, who is now a vice president. She had joined the team in 1997 as a senior project designer.

Dallas' Azimuth Architecture Inc. has added Ty Holcomb and Jeff Cain as senior project managers to its healthcare facility design studio. Cain's experience includes a stint at Collins Reisenbichler Architects in Dallas as a project coordinator.

La Quinta Inns Inc. has named Sharon Beach to the role of vice president of purchasing. She has more than 20 years of supply chain management, including stints at Bristol Hotels & Resorts, The Mandalay Four Seasons Hotel and The Mansion on Turtle Creek.

Wyndham International has selected William S. McCleave as its vice president of engineering. He will coordinate all engineering and technical programs for Wyndham's hotels and resorts. Prior to joining Wyndham, he had been director of manufacturing for the military simulation division of ECC International Corp.
