The string of success continues into 2001 as the South Florida chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties bestowed four of 13 annual awards, including the Developer/Owner of the Year recognition, to Codina Development Corp.
Success also describes the recognition the trade group bestowed to Bill Graham, chairman of Miami Lakes, FL-based Graham Cos., who received the Lifetime Achievement award. The group also named Graham Cos. as Member Company of the Year.
The remaining awards presented at the chapter's annual meeting were: Hogan Group for the 701 Waterford project, Spec Office Building over 150,000 sf; Grubb & Ellis of Florida for the Millennium Building, Spec Office Building under 150,000 sf; Exodus Communications for the Lightspeed Center at Beacon Tradeport, Technology; MDM Developments for the Barclays Financial Center, Project of the Year; Jack Lowell, Codina Realty Services Inc., Broker of the Year.
Also: George Pincus, Proskauer Rose, Individual Member of the Year; Codina Realty Services Inc. for the Beacon Centre, Sale of the Year; Sharpe Project Developments for Rail America, Renovation of the Year; Codina Development for the NCCI project in Boca Raton, Build to Suit Office Building; and MC Construction Group for the Tropical Shipping project, Build to Suit Industrial Building.
