Bill Halford, who has led the company's office property division since 1997 is being promoted to president of the Irvine Company newly integrated office and industrial property effort, which was renamed the Irvine Company Office Group. Due to the consolidation, Bob Williams, president of the company's Industrial Group will be leaving the company.
"The integration is the result of the growing similarity between the company's office and industrial property operations," Barker says. "This is primarily due to changes in the needs of business customers, and the fact that the industrial property division's popular two-story, flex-tech buildings function are more like office buildings than traditional industrial buildings."
As EVP for finance and administration, David Patty will oversee all finance and administration for the Investment and Properties Group, which includes the company's office, hospitality, retail and recreation properties, as well as the Irvine Apartment Communities. Patty has been an executive with the company for the past 11 years.
Ron Keith, SVP of development for the company's Retail Group will now be EVP for commercial property development for the Investment Properties Group and will lead the company's efforts in construction and development of office and industrial properties.
Keith Eyrich is replacing Evans as president of The Irvine Company's Retail Group. Max Gardner was named president of The Irvine Apartmtent Communities in December.
