Stephen Banker, executive managing director with Newmark's Connecticut/Westchester office, says Cendant will relocate their operations to Norwalk in a few months.

Banker relates that the building, which also includes parking for 224 automobiles, will be completely refurbished in coming months. He adds that the ownership has retained CPG Architects based here to undertake the renovations that will include work on the lobby, the addition of canopies as well as exterior building facade and landscaping improvements.

The asking rent for space at 707 Summer St., will be in the $32 per sf (gross) range, Banker reveals, significantly lower than space a few blocks away Downtown that is commanding rents of above $40 per sf.
