FastOffice allows a customer to sign a license agreement for ready-for-work office space and begin doing business there within days. The approximately 2,100-sf suites are equipped with phone lines, high-speed Internet access and other office equipment. Lease terms are as short as month-to-month up to 18 months.
One-year-old dotspot offers scalable space, flexible terms and advanced plug-and-play technology in the 50,000-sf 1 N. Dearborn St. dotspot says it offers companies a chance to reduce its cash outlay and long-term commitment to office space. Their 39 clients include corporate spin-offs, technology companies and e-businesses such as an Arthur Anderson joint venture, a Dallas-based database consulting firm and an online insurance agency.
Downtown FastOffice locations include 10 and 30 S. Wacker Dr. and 200 W. Adams St. Equity Office also has FastOffices at its Corporate 500 Centre in north suburban Deerfield, Tri-State International in Lake County and Westbrook Corporate Center in west suburban Oak Brook. Asking rents are $27 per sf Downtown, $16.50 to $28 per sf in the suburbs.
