Caribou bought the 10-story office development near the Santa Ana Civic Center from privately held Krausz Cos. Headed by businessman Michael Harrah, Caribou already owns about 1.5 million sf in the Downtown area, including the Santa Ana Performing Arts Center across the street from Park Tower Center.

Privately held Caribou also recently submitted plans to build a 37-story office complex on 10th Street and Broadway in Santa Ana, which would be Orange County's tallest building if it gets the city's approval.

Gil Marrero of Voit Commercial Brokerage's Newport Beach office represented Caribou in the Park Tower Center acquisition. Rob Mitchell and Peter Castleton of Voit Commercial's Anaheim office represented Krausz Cos.
