The company, Creative Domain, will occupy the sixth and seventh floors of the 12-story building at 6922 Hollywood Blvd. The new pact will allow the firm to consolidate and relocate its staffers who currently are in two other buildings, one in Culver City and the other in West Los Angeles.
Several entertainment-related firms have signed new leases in the LA area, helping to soften the impact of downsizing dot-com tenants. Chicago-based development giant JMB Realty Corp. recently announced it would begin construction of its long-planned Century City high-rise after Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer committed to 425,000 sf at the project by signing a 15-year lease, valued at about $500 million.
In the Creative Domain deal, the tenant was represented by Mark Berman of Coldwel lBanker Commercial Westmac. John Eichler and Brad Feld of Cushman & Wakefield of California Inc. represented the landlord, CIM/Hollywood.
