Shortpath provides comprehensive information about purchases by employee, department, vendor and product. Office managers can use it to order products and services in more than 20 categories such as office supplies, messengers, catering, car services, telecommunications as well as to book travel arrangements.
Managers don't have to learn new software programs to use the network; all they have to do is access the Internet where they can build a page of preferred vendors and designate those staff members who can place orders.
The company has commitments from owners of more than 18 million sf of space in properties such as the Buchmann Tower, the Seagrams building, 11 Broadway and 17 State Street. During the next year, Shortpath plans to expand its services to Philadelphia, Miami, Dallas and San Francisco.
