Trammell Crow Co. will build the six-story EJ Randolph II, which will be owned and managed by Equity Office. Groundbreaking is scheduled for March with completion expected in mid-2002. Trammell Crow Co. also will build a six-level parking structure. HITT Contracting, Inc. is expected to be the construction contractor and Kishimoto.Gordon, PC the architect for the project.

Booz Allen eventually will have five buildings in its headquarters campus totaling more than 850,000 sf. Equity will own 670,000 sf in the complex, giving the office REIT 5.9 million sf in 26 buildings in the Washington, D.C. market.

Director of administrative services Gary Lance and associate general counsel Carla Calobrisi represented Booz Allen in the transaction, with help from Dan Evans of The Staubach Co.
