St. Paul Port Authority Has Several Business Centers Under Development

ST. PAUL, MN-The Port will follow one "busy year" with another. The River Bend and Great Northern business centers are already on tap for this year but the Port is also considering the proposed Phalen Westminster.

ST. PAUL, MN-The St. Paul Port Authority has two major business centers on tap for this year: River Bend and Great Northern business centers. River Bend is a 22-acre development near the Mississippi River at Shepherd Road and Randolph Avenue. Meanwhile, Great Northern, formerly the Maxson Steel site, is a 22-acre redeveloped site between North Dale Street and Como Avenue.

The St. Paul Port Authority is also considering a new 15- to 24-acre business center called Phalen Westminster just north and east of the Port’s Williams Hill Business Center.

The Port is managing a $10-million public-private effort to connect the RiverCentre complex with the downtown skyway system.
