In addition to tearing down the current Scott Valley Bank at 1500 North California Blvd., the project would include the parking lot next to the bank, which is situated on Bonanza Street between Locust Street and North California Boulevard.

Last year, Walnut Creek city officials announced that its Downtown zoning law allowed for mixed-use projects. Bank officials say they hope to formalize plans and make an application for the project with the city within the next month.
