The project, by Western Realco, stands on a 35-acre site at the intersection of Santa Ana Ave. and Commerce Way in Fontana. In a lease deal announced last year, Home Shopping Network agreed to take the entire complex for use as a fulfillment center through a 10-year deal valued at $32 million.

About 300 people will work at the site. It includes several state-of-the-art features, including 30-foot minimum warehouse clearance and a cutting-edge fire protection system.

Western Realco has built more than 13.5 million sf of space since it was formed in 1972, a company officials says.
