The 35-employees operation has taken office space at 9300 United Dr. in north Austin. For about a year, the Austin office has been located at 8716 N. Mopac Expressway, also in the city's northern corridor. More hires are expected to come with the move, an inside source has told GlobeSt.com.
TestChip's new office is being designed by the Waddill Group, which has done other facilities for the corporation. Jackson-Cooksey has represented TestChip in the lease negotiations. The privately held TestChip is considered an industry leader in providing test structure and test chip design for semiconductor designers, manufacturers and fabrication equipment vendors.
