The 258,000-sf complex stands on 27 acres at the corner of Golden West Street and Yorktown. Grading has begun on the final phase of the project, with building construction set to begin in 30 days.
The mall's food court is already under way. It will include a KD Donuts, Baja Fresh, Pizzarito, Starbucks and Togos/Baskin Robbins. Those tenants are expected to open their doors this summer.
On the retail side, a 23,942-sf Staples will open later this month. Several retailers involved in earlier phases are already operating, including a supermarket, Orchard Supply Hardware and Blockbuster.
Seacliff Village is a joint venture between Aliso Viejo-based investment company Shea Properties and LA-based Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund. Shea Properties is the managing partner for the center's development.
