Millionaire Property Owner/Club Operator Faces Biggest Hit of His Career

ORLANDO-If James and Charles Veigle are banned this week from operating one of their three Florida adult nightclubs because of alleged prostitution and drug dealing there, they can still fall back on the rent revenue from their $3 million worth of commercial buildings they own in affluent Winter Park, an Orlando suburb.

But the cash stream won’t be the same, lawyers familiar with the Veigles’ 10-year clashes with the law, tell GlobeSt.com. In prior conversations with area prosecutors, Jim Veigle confirms the monthly net at each of his clubs is about $400,000, or $1.2 million for all three locations. He values his real estate holdings at $3 million; his clubs at $7 million; and his sports car sales business at roughly $800,000.

Records seized by law enforcement officers last July indicated Jim Veigle’s net worth then was $10.8 million. The Veigles themselves are not accused of anything. One of their clubs, Rachel’s, is accused of fostering prostitution and drug dealing.
