"The company's new identity is more reflective of our position as an independent real estate firm," says Neil Haltrecht, who was recently named president of Roberston. "As developers, owners and investors in commercial real estate, the firm has created, and will actively continue to build, a diverse portfolio."

The firm, which was founded in 1992, has developed more than three million sf of industrial, office and retail properties. Robertson owns 10 million sf of developable land and has more than two million sf of commercial projects in the works throughout California.

Its 210,000-sf retail and entertainment center, Cinerama Dome, is scheduled to open in Hollywood in 2002. In Anaheim, the company is constructing a 275,000-sf community retail center anchored by a 160,000-sf Lowe's Hardware. Robertson is also building a 550,000-sf industrial complex in Pico Rivera, which is slated for completion this summer.
