Developer Closing on Two Acres in Clear Lake for Medical Office Project

CLEAR LAKE, TX-Developer A. Brent Coon Interest has found a sweetheart of a location for a medical office project. The developer will be closing on a two-acre tract in Clear Lake, just across the street from a regional hospital.

CLEAR LAKE, TX-Developer A. Brent Coon Interests LLC will acquire two acres on Medical Center Boulevard in Clear Lake, an eastern suburb of Houston.

The deal will close soon, Kelly Carmody, broker with Coldwell Banker Commercial Chen & Associates and representative to Coon Interests, tells GlobeSt.com. The land is being purchased from Webster Medical Inc. and is situated across the street from Clear Lake Regional Hospital.

Coon Interests plans to acquire 4.5 acres for a multi-building project, but is starting out with the two-acre parcel, where construction will be concentrated, Carmody tells GlobeSt.com. The project’s first phase is to break ground in March and will consist of a 20,000-sf, class-A medical office facility. Wingfield-Sears Group Inc. is the project architect.
