The largest transaction was a 100,000-sf facility located at 12701 S. Ridgeway in south suburban Alsip. Cromwell Phoenix Inc., a maker of rust preventative packaging that is relocating from 74th St. and Pulaski Ave. in Chicago, bought the property for $1.15 million. Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler vice preident J. Louis DeSanto represented Cromwell Phoenix while Doug Hayes of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller.

A 60,000-sf industrial building at 909 Orchard in far north suburban Mundelein was bought by a pharmaceutical supply company, which was attracted by the building's air-conditioned lab space. Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler senior vice president Andrew T. Sexson represented the buyer while Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler senior vice president Vernon F. Schultz, SIOR represented the seller.

Ace Graphics bought 2 acres on Corporate Drive in west suburban Naperville's Prairie Point for a 22,000-sf building with 5,200 sf of office space. Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler vice president Keith S. Stauber, SIOR represented Ace Graphics.

Fashion Design, which is expanding from a location in neighboring Lincolnwood, bought a 12,000-sf building at 7550 N. Linder in near north suburban Skokie for $650,000. Senior associate Christopher T. Volkert represented the seller.

MND Transportation bought an 8,440-sf building at 170 W. Roosevelt Road in West Chicago for $365,000 to expand and relocate operations. Senior vice president Ronald J. Behm and Stauber represented the seller while Lance Kammes of Kammes Properties represented the buyer.
