High-Tech Strategy Bags 73,200-SF Tenant for Houston Community College

HOUSTON-A strategy to find a high-tech tenant for Houston Community College has paid off for the leasing team. The 531,000-sf structure has just what Pros Revenue Management had been seeking and then some, says the president.

HOUSTON-When Houston Community College recently decided to lease a portion of its 531,000-sf downtown building at 3100 Main, brokers at Trione & Gordon Oncor International had thought it best suited for a high-tech company.

That has proven to be the right strategy, attracting Pros Revenue Management to 73,200 sf in the 12-story ComTech Center. Jim Broch, president of Pros Revenue Management, a software and management consulting company, tells GlobeSt.com the main bait are the tech-friendly amenities, specifically floor loading, telecommunication double feeds and power double feeds. The location had it all: large floor plates, covered parking and a Midtown location. Consequently, Broch has inked a five-year lease for the office space to relocate operations from just three blocks away. The new space, says Broch, offered “the opportunity to improve facilities for our employees.”
