The San Diego-based company, Ninyo & Moore, has paid more than $2 million for the parcel, which is located at the intersection of Irvine Center Drive and Tesla in Spectrum V. Ninyo plans to construct a 36,267-sf divisible building on the site. The company will occupy the facility in December 2001.

Dennis Highland and Mark Jerue of Lee & Associates' Irvine Spectrum office represented Ninyo & Moore. The seller, The Irvine Co., was represented by Stan Mullin and Jim Cunningham of Grubb & Ellis' Newport Beach office.

The Irvine Spectrum, which is open during construction, will encompass 700,000 sf when completed. The complex is managed by Madison Marquette.
