Located at 6141 Mercury Dr., the Dearborn TownePlace Suites will be operated as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by CSM Corporation of St. Paul, MN. The newproperty is the third TownePlace Suites in the Detroit metro area.

Resembling a row of townhouses in a residential setting, the Dearborn TownePlace Suites hotel offers studio, one- and two-bedroom suites. "TownePlace Suites is quickly becoming the benchmark for the moderate tier extended-stay lodging market," said Erika Alexander, brand vice president, TownePlace Suites. Launched in 1997, TownePlace Suites currently has 83 locations in the United States.

The Dearborn TownePlace Suites is located 11 miles from the Detroit International Airport, 20 minutes from downtown and one mile from Ford Motor Company's world headquarters.

Detroit, as well as neighboring cities, is trying to rebuild its image by encouraging new hotel construction, especially for Super Bowl guests for 2006.

CSM Corporation, founded in 1976, is headquartered in St.Paul, MN. The company, owned by Gary S. Holmes, is engaged in the development and management of more than 4,500 apartment and townhome units, 21 hotels, 21 shopping centers and more than 10 million sf of office and warehouse space.
