Still in the preliminary stages, early plans for the "O Zone Sports House" call for a 135,000-sf facility housing both basketball courts and an ice skating rink. Neither Giomi nor a spokesperson for Community Sports was immediately available to confirm details.

The 413,039-sf site is listed at Quadrant Commercial's Web site(www.quadrantcommercial.com) for $9.50/sf, which translates to a sales price of $3,924,000. This land is among 40 acres of build-to-suit sites remaining in Quadrant's 314-acre mixed-use park at the intersection of State Highways 167 and 18.

At present, available sites in Auburn 400, zoned for heavy commercial and retail, range in size from 0.75 acres to one parcel over ten acres in the West Valley Retail section. Prices listed run a gamut from $6.95/sf (the W Valley site) to $20/sf, depending upon proximity to 15th Street SW. Mark Rowe, Quadrant's Auburn project manager, confirmed for GlobeSt that a sale of the 9.48-acre parcel is pending with Giomi's group.
