ClickArray Networks Raises $31 Mil in First Round VC, Looks for Expansion Space

SAN JOSE-ClickArray Networks Inc. is $31.1 million richer these days and looking for expansion space. The developer of web traffic management software landed the money in a first round of venture capital that was led by H&Q Asia Pacific and U.S. Venture Partners and also included Comdisco Ventures and various private individuals.

ClickArray says it will use the VC funds to rapidly expand its sales and marketing, manufacturing and R& D teams while also increasing its customer support and distribution channel infrastructure. ClickArray CEO Lawrence Lu tells GlobeSt the company is indeed looking for space in which to expand operations, but didn’t know too many details. He suggested GlobeSt talk to his vice president of administration George Terzis, which is handling the task, but Terzis was not immediately available for comment.
