CenterPoint Properties Trust is the developer of the mixed-use business park on a 22.5-acre site at 55th Street and East Avenue. FCL is general contractor of the business park, which includes three buildings consisting of 659,150 sf. Tenants include Tru-Vue, Elgin Dairy, Carroll Scientific, SK Hand Tools and Wells-Gardner Electronics Corp.
The new building will have 36 exterior truck docks with levelers and seals, four drive-in doors, trailer storage with 18 stalls alongside the building. There will be parking for 283 cars.
Senior project manager R. Craig Slinker, project manager Christian Evangelista and superintendent Ray Norkiewicz will oversee the project for FCL. Cornerstone Architects, LTD. is providing services. Tom M. Condon and Vern F. Shultz of Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler are exclusive marketing agents.
