Competitive Computing Enters Area

BURLINGTON, MA-Competitive Computing, a Vermont-based provider of business technology solutions, opened an office north of the city here in the Burlington Mall Center. This is the company’s first foray into the Boston area. ,p>”We’re trying to push more in the New England area,” Julia Andrews, spokesperson for the company, tells GlobeSt.com. “There are many potential clients in the Boston area who could partner with us.” Competitive’s office is here is about a 40 minute drive into the city. ,p> “There is quite a tech center here,” notes Andrews. “There are many high-tech companies and many of the surrounding services such as public relations firms and advertising agencies.” Andrews adds that her company was also attracted by the area’s ability to draw on the pool of talent in the southern New Hampshire area.

Competitive Computing was founded eight years ago and has worked with a number of local companies such as Crane Paper in Dalton, MA, Revenio in Burlington, MA and BOSE Corporation in Framingham.
