First Financial Bancshares Inc. to Enter Jackson County Market

LEE'S SUMMIT, MO-A branch of the Kansas-based bank will be located in the Chapel Ridge Shopping Center, near Interstate 470 and Woods Chapel Road, by the end of spring.

The shopping center is located near Interstate 470 and Woods Chapel Road. Located near the shopping center are numerous new subdivisions, as well as the established Lakewood community, which is one of the most affluent in eastern Jackson County.

First Financial Bancshares was formed last year. Its CEO and Chairman, Tom Bishop, has tenured experience in the banking industry. In 1990, he started Parkway Bank and in 1996, First Commercial Bank, both located in Overland Park, KS.
