Cyclone Commerce, which provides an Internet platform for business-to-business trading, leased 66,280 sf in an office project at 8388 E. Hartford Dr. The company is consolidating three Scottsdale locations and 150 employees into the space. The Perimeter Center is one of the Scottsdale's premier business parks and the headquarters of Franchise Finance Corp. of America. The park is at the northwest corner of the Loop 101 and Bell Road.

The building was developed last year by Phoenix-based Hewson Development Co., which is planning another building of a similar size at the site. The annual lease consideration is estimated to be at least $2 million.

Scottsdale has some of the most sought after office and back office space in the Valley. At the start of the year, the vacancy rate for office space in north Scottsdale was 7.9%, compared to a 9.9% rate overall.

The Phoenix office of Coldwell Banker Commercial, with President Jay Hoselton, negotiated the lease on behalf of Cyclone.
