The Dallas-based Chuck E. Cheese Pizza has bought 2.3 acres from The Woodlands Operating Co. LP while the furniture retailer has acquired 2.1 acres for a 16,000-sf gallery store. Doug Alcott of Foremark Ltd. has represented Chuck E. Cheese in the land transaction. Chuck E. Cheese, which has 381 restaurants nationwide, has not set a grand opening date, but La-Z-Boy has picked out July to unlock gallery doors, which front Interstate 45. Dan Smith with Transwestern Commercial Services Inc.'s Houston office has represented La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries. Greg Jordan, The Woodlands' director of retail sales, has handled the transactions for the limited partnership.
