It is the first hotel to be operational in this city's Downtown in nearly six years.

The Unified Government of Kansas City, KS and Wyandotte County is partnering with KCK Hotel Group on the $17-million project. Funding for the hotel will come largely from federal grants and loans from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
