The 6336 Corporation, headed by Mike Lisle of Lincolnwood, IL purchased the Scottsdale Professional Plaza, a 16,457-sf office building at 4020 N. Scottsdale Rd. The office complex is near Old Town Scottsdale, just blocks from the Scottsdale Civic Center and near some of the best shopping and restaurants the city has to offer.

Since the opening two years ago of the Pima Freeway, or Loop 101, which runs north/south along the eastern edge of Scottsdale, the city has seen a surge of interest in office and industrial space in both north and south Scottsdale. Before the introduction of the freeway, company owners and corporate executives who live in the area's upscale homes had been reluctant to locate their headquarters here.

At the start of the year, the office vacancy rate in south Scottsdale was 8.4%, compared to 9.9% overall. More than 300,000 sf of new office space is under construction in south Scottsdale, and another 480,000 sf is planned.

Investors John and Gael Pardi of Oakland, CA were the sellers of the property. They had owned it for two years.

The Phoenix office of Marcus & Millichap, with brokers Jamie Medress, Steve Gonzalez and Rich Butler, represented the principals in the transaction.
