Jones Lang LaSalle Making Presence Known in Local Market

KANSAS CITY-The company will manage two Firstar buildings in the city--Firstar Tower at 1101 Walnut St. and a building at 4900 Main St.--and is negotiating to purchase Overland Park Trade Center.

KANSAS CITY-Jones Lang LaSalle is making its mark in Kansas City leasing and management circles. Last month, the firm assumed management of the Firstar Tower at 1101 Walnut St. Downtown and its building at 4900 Main St. near the Country Club Plaza.

The Firstar is managed by Jim Beck, the company’s local director of leasing. Formerly, CB Richard Ellis Inc. leased and managed the building. CB Richard Ellis will continue to handle the leasing for building.

Jones Lang LaSalle is serving as the leasing and management company for the owner of the buildings, Chesapeake Atlantic Holdings, based in Tampa, FL.
