KANSAS CITY-Talk in the Brookside neighborhood shopping district still swirls about national retail coffee chain Starbucks opening in the shopping district with the recent departure of Espresso Ah La Cart.
Owner David Nepstad had operated the coffee shop for the last six years. There is speculation that Starbucks will soon be moving into the neighborhood, occupying the former Amoco gas station at Brookside Boulevard and 62nd Terrace.
