The awards were handed out at a breakfast held at the Westchester Country Club in Rye. Featured was the top honoree Phil Luria of Austin Corporate Properties who took home the "Broker of the Year" honor for the year 2000.

George Bagley of Sound Commercial Real Estate won for "Most Transactions by an Individual Broker." Cushman & Wakefield Inc. took the "Most Transactions by a Firm" prize. Arthur Lerner and Steven Banker of Newmark & Company Real Estate won for "Largest Lease" for the TMP/Monstermoving.com lease transaction at 50 Main St. in White Plains.

James Saunders and Noel Flagg of Douglas Elliman Real Estate won for the "Largest Lease--Flex Space" for the Wise Optical transaction at South Westchester Executive Park in Yonkers. Both Saunders and Flagg are now affiliated with Newmark & Company Real Estate. Neil Schorr of Rothwood Real Estate took home the "Most Creative Deal" award for the lease deal with Ademco at the Cross Westchester Executive Park (125 Clearbrook Rd.) here in Elmsford.
