Plans for the Fairway Plaza project include fast-food restaurants for the northwest corner of Stanford Road and Fairway Drive. The $5 million project is currently in front of the design review committee.

Steve Patterson, president and owner of Patterson Properties, is also seeking permits for five office and commercial flex-space buildings at 1400 Lead Hill Road totaling more than 150,000 sf. Patterson also envisions four restaurants for the complex.

Also in Patterson's development pipeline is Sunrise Cirby Plaza. Planned for the corner of Sunrise Avenue and Cirby Way, it would include 22,000 sf of small shops, a 3,000-sf fast food restaurant and a Longs Drugs store with a drive-through pharmacy. Patterson Inc. officials anticipate breaking ground for that project by summer and expect leases to be inked by the end of the year.
