The two-story, 98,000-sf office R&D building, scheduled for completion in April, is now more than 60% leased with the addition of 3Com Corp., maker of networking products and solutions. 3Com signed a six-year lease for about 27,000 sf in a deal valued at $3.6 million.
Steve Rosetta of Cushman & Wakefield represented 3Com, while Tom Mercerand Jay Alexander of Colliers International spoke for Lankford & Associates.
In addition, Titan/Visicom, whose operations include development of communications and defense technology, signed a five-year lease forapproximately 31,500 sf at Scripps Northridge Technology Plaza. The value of the lease is $3.5 million. Titan/Visicom will use thefacility for office and engineering space.
Dan Runyan of Burnham Real Estate Services dealt for Titan/Visicom, while Tom Mercer and Jay Alexander of Colliers International repped Lankford & Associates.
"These are solid companies whose operations will complement those of other tenants in Scripps Northridge Technology Plaza, such as Nokia," says Robert V. Lankford, president/CEO of Lankford & Associates. "We hope we can close out Scripps Northridge Technology Plaza by signing one more tenant to take the remaining space."
Scripps Northridge Technology Plaza is being developed by Kearny-Scripps LLC, a partnership led by Lankford & Associates, Inc., and Kearny Real Estate Co., an affiliate of Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds.
