Construction Begins on $20-Mil TO Apartment Project

THOUSAND OAKS, CA-PCS Development Inc. broke ground Tuesday on The Premiere of Thousand Oaks, the first major apartment project to be built in the city since 1991.

THOUSAND OAKS, CA–Construction is commencing on a 120-unit luxury apartment complex in Thousand Oaks at the northwest corner of Conejo School Road and Los Feliz Drive.

When completed, the $20-million complex, The Premiere of Thousand Oaks, will feature a theater screening room, fitness center and subterranean parking. Plans also call for a courtyard with a swimming pool, spa and fountain. Completion is slated for spring 2002.

The 115,000-sf complex will contain both one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. Rents have been projected at between $1,400 and $1,750 for the one-bedroom units and between $1,700 and $2,100 for the two-bedroom units.
