Interim President Named for Dutchess County EDC

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY-The Dutchess County Economic Development Corp. has named Anne N. Conroy, the current Empire Zone Director, as the interim president of the organization. Kathleen Sullivan Norat had led the organization for six years prior to her departure.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY-Anne N. Conroy, the current Empire Zone Director for the Dutchess County Economic Development Corp., has been named as interim president of the organization following the recent departure of Kathleen Sullivan Norat, who led the agency for the past six years. Norat left to take a position with Arthur Andersen LLC in New York City.

Conroy will serve as interim president while the organization undertakes a nationwide search for a new president. Conroy will continue her responsibilities as director of the Empire Zone while managing the day-to-day operations of the organization.
