Several tenants are already signed up for the new buildings, at 5111 and 5115 Pegasus Court: BDR (8,760 sf), Crowley Micro Group (5,520 sf), CompuClub (5,520 sf) and Phoenix McConough (18,000 sf). First Nationwide Mortgage Group is Building VI's main tenant, at more than 35,000 sf. Buildings VI and VII together comprise 90,240 sf, with suite sizes ranging from 2,250 to 34,120 sf.
MIE officials say recent transactions bring occupancy at Center at Monocacy to nearly 70%, with tenants including Clym Environmental, Patriot Technologies, Carriage Hill Cabinet Co., Accustaff Inc., Royal Auto Glass and LSI. Two more buildings are slated for completion by early 2002.
The Center at Monocacy is one of two Frederick projects currently under development by MIE--the other is the 45-acre Riverside Technology Park adjacent to the Frederick Airport at the intersection of Monocacy Boulevard and Progress Drive. The two projects will bring MIE's Frederick portfolio to a combined total of 1 million sf.
