The prior individual weekly record stood at about $30 million for several years, Ron Shuffield, Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell president, tells GlobeSt.com.
"To put it in perspective, when we purchased EWM in 1984, the company recorded $55 million in sales for that entire year," Shuffield says. "As a whole, there are only a handful of individuals in the US who sell more than $50 million a year, making Audrey's one-week total all the more extraordinary."
One sale, for $6 million-plus, ranked as one of the largest dollar figures ever sought in Miami-Dade County for a single condominium, Ross says. She wouldn't disclose details of that transaction.
The Miami-based firm, ranked first in Miami-Dade County during 2000 in total home sale closings, based on the company's analysis of data culled from the Southeast Florida Regional Multiple Listing Service. The firm's residential sales totaled $1.3 billion last year throughout Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe and Palm Beach counties.
