During Whitmore's 18-years in the real estate investment banking business, he has served as manager, advisor and transactional agent for the Real Estate Research Corp. in Chicago and New York and Landauer Associates in New York.

Whitmore will continue to represent institutional clients on national sales and recapitalizations, and will serve on the company's investment sales executive committee. According to Holliday's Jim Savage, senior managing director of the investment sales group in Houston and also a member of the committee, this is the latest effort the company has made over the last two years to improve its US investment sales operation. "We fully expect our investment sales business volume will eventually equal our debt and equity production," Savage says.
