The five-story elevator building, located just off Route 9, consists of 62 one-bedroom apartments, 20 two-bedroom apartments, as well as a community room, laundry facilities and outside patio/courtyard. Monthly rents on one-bedroom units range from $422 to $476, while two bedrooms rent for $503 to $568 per month.

Heritage Pointe was financed through the Federal Housing Tax Credit program, which encourages private investment in affordable rental housing. It also received a New York State Housing Trust Fund Loan, a low-interest loan issued by the state, and a Federal Home Loan Bank Loan low-interest loan. In addition, Heritage Pointe received HOME Loans from Dutchess County.
