Telseon Open Headquarters, Plans Data Center

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA-The optical networking company Telseon opened a 33,000-sf “technology headquarters” building here this week at 805 East Middlefield Road that the company says will soon hold a national data center as well. The Denver-based company is funding its objective thanks to $100 million in recent equity investments and $75 million in vendor financing. In two previous rounds, the 350-employee company took in a total of $86.5 million.

Telseon provides high-speed data connections between the businesses it serves and the national communications networks of its partners. The two-year-old spinoff of an Australian software company plans to eventually serve 50 major markets across the globe.
