David L. Lane and Wolff Cos. are being honored for planting 72 100-gallon live oak trees on a landscape setback along Beltway 8 and Clay Road at the developer's Westway Park. Wolff also, along with Metro National Corp., has been lauded for planting live oaks, loblolly pines and sweetgum trees in the Clay Road medians at Westway Park. The 150-acre master-planned office park boasts tenants such as Cooper Cameron, Stewart Title Co., P&O Nedloyd, Nextel Communications and Ryland Homes.
The honor marks the second time that Wolff has been honored by Trees for Houston. Past recipients of the award include Giorgio Borlenghi, Texas Medical Center, Harris County, Houston Sports Authority, Kirksey, The Staubach Co., Means Knaus, LLP, Halliburton Co. and St. Joe Commercial.
