"They had entertained moving out to the suburbs and they've decided to stay downtown," Bart Matheney of Insignia/ESG told GlobeSt.com. "They're a good tenant and we're very excited that they decided to stay." The law firm is an original tenant in the building, built in the mid-1980s.

The renewal means the 15-story, 164,044-sf office structure holds onto its 100% occupancy standing. The structure is located at 919 Congress Ave. at its intersection with 10th Street in the city's CBD. Insignia/ESG leases the building while Lowe Enterprises Texas owns the property and acts as property manager. The property commands rents in the mid-$30 per sf range.

Matheney and Jinny Hines, also of Insignia/ESG, have represented the building owner. Jamil Alam of Trammell Crow Co. has acted on the tenant's behalf.
