Copper Mountain Inn, Inc., headed by J. Richard Loucks and Paul Friedlan, purchased the Select Care Nursing Home, a 20,000-sf, 112-bed facility, for $1 million. The nursing-care facility is at 1100 Monroe. The center is just off Interstate 60.

Copper Mountain Inn is based in Mancos, CO.

Globe is a former copper mining community that has become something of a haven for retirees, with low property taxes and an abundance of available land. It has a year-round population of about 7,000, but several thousand more people move in during the winter months.

Select Care LLC, headed by Mark Hickman, of Nashville, TN was the seller of the facility and had owned it for about five years prior to the sale.The Phoenix office of Marcus & Millichap, with broker Bernie Bajoras, represented the principals in the transaction.
