Kroh Bros. Development had been a significant player in the local market, with as many as 170 office buildings, retail centers and commercial real estate holdings in a dozen states. All that changed with the tax law revisions passed in 1986. Recently, about 1,700 unsecured creditors have been contacted by the firm of Martin Leigh & Laws, according to a company spokesperson.
