GHP acquired 7-11 South Broadway (70,000 sf) and 170 Hamilton Ave. (60,000 sf) from partnerships controlled by Anthony and Frank Longhitano of New Rochelle. Both properties are fully leased. The 170 Hamilton Ave., property is the former Home Savings Bank building that was originally built by the Schulman Realty Group in the late 1970s.

The former Home Savings Bank branch space has been leased on a long-term basis to Lighthouse International while the remainder of the building is multi-tenanted. Some unspecified amount of space at the building is scheduled to become available in the latter part of this year, according to GHP officials.

Recently, the city of White Plains signed a long-term lease for 7,368 sf of space at 7-11 South Broadway thereby raising its occupancy at the property to approximately 11,000 sf. Andrew Greenspan, a principal of GHP Realty says, "The acquisition of these two buildings is consistent with GHP's mission to acquire multi-tenanted properties in prime suburban locations significantly below replacement cost."

GHP was represented in both deals by the law firm Thatcher Proffitt and Wood. The seller was represented by the real estate firm Minor and Casey.
