GHP Office Realty Acquires Two Buildings

WHITE PLAINS-Officials with GHP Office Realty say that the firm has closed on the acquisition of two office buildings here totaling 130,00 sf of office space. The firm now owns approximately 750,000 sf of space in the area.

WHITE PLAINS-GHP Office Realty has acquired its fourth and fifth office buildings in White Plains with the purchase of 7-11 South Broadway and 170 Hamilton Ave. The firm, which began operations in late 1999, now owns approximately 750,000 sf of space in the northern New York City suburbs (Northern New Jersey, Westchester, Rockland and Fairfield County, Ct.). No purchase price was released on either sale.

GHP acquired 7-11 South Broadway (70,000 sf) and 170 Hamilton Ave. (60,000 sf) from partnerships controlled by Anthony and Frank Longhitano of New Rochelle. Both properties are fully leased. The 170 Hamilton Ave., property is the former Home Savings Bank building that was originally built by the Schulman Realty Group in the late 1970s.

The former Home Savings Bank branch space has been leased on a long-term basis to Lighthouse International while the remainder of the building is multi-tenanted. Some unspecified amount of space at the building is scheduled to become available in the latter part of this year, according to GHP officials.
