Westwave, Network Photonics Take Additional Space at Oak Valley Business Park

SANTA ROSA, CA-Westwave Communications and Network Photonics are expanding their presence at Basin Street Properties’ Oak Valley Business Park. The leases, totaling 56,000 sf, are promoting developer Basin Street Properties to move forward with a 106,000-sf second phase.

Westwave, a locally based developer of call control and signaling software for the telecommunications industry, occupied a 40,000 sf building in the park last September. Now it is having a second 40,000-sf building constructed to house the company’s expanding workforce.

Boulder, CO-based Network Photonics, a developer of optical network solutions for telecom service providers, used Oak Valley to open its first Santa Rosa office in July 2000. To handle expected future growth, the company is now adding to that space with another 16,000 sf that it will take over in March to become the sole occupant of the building.
